David Anderson-Berry, M.D., LL.D, F.R.S. (Edin.)

was born in Wick in 1862

entered Glasgow University as a law student, but soon changed to medicine, studying at Edinburgh under Lord Kelvin among others.  Further studied took him to France and Germany.  He commenced practice in London and continued in medicine there for serveral decades.  Saved as a youth, he was vigorous in Christian work, and was known as an able teacher of the Word of God, being an often-invited Bible conference speaker.  He was a frequent contributor to The Witness magazine and authored several books, including The Seven Cries from the Cross, and After Death, What?
