This solemn warning is given to those who have never repented of their sin nor accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their substitute. On the cross of Calvary, the Saviour bore the sins of the world, but to be born again is a personal matter. The Lord Jesus said to Nicodemus: “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
