DAILY READINGS: Esther 2:1-23; Zechariah 12:1-13:6; Revelation 19:1-10

And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You. Psalm 39:7, NKJV

While touring a pioneer village I was intrigued by the bed-time routine. Clothes were neatly hung. Books and toys were put away. These pilgrims believed in Christ’s eminent return and wanted nothing in the way to hinder His coming for them. What a testimony of their Christian faith! Nothing in the way to hinder Christ’s return for them. Is this how we live our lives or is life cluttered with worldliness, lack of devotion, faith and carelessness? Christ will return. Make sure nothing hinders your hope in Him! —Deborah Manera

When he shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found!
Dressed in his righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne! —Edward Mote
