I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

Jean Francois Gravelot, known as “The Great Blondin,” performed a crossing of the Niagara River on a tightrope. After reaching the other side he asked the crowd, “Do you believe I can cross the river while pushing someone in a wheelbarrow?” The crowd answered, “We believe! We believe!” Then he asked, “Who is willing to ride inside the wheelbarrow while I push you across?” No one answered. To say you believe is one thing, but to really mean it is another. Do you really believe on the name of Jesus, that He is the Son of God? —Jerry Proctor
