DAILY READINGS: Judges 9:1-10:5; Isaiah 30:1-33; 1 Cor. 9:1-23

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 1 Timothy 6:7, NKJV

Much of the world’s activity is driven by the pursuit of wealth.  Those with little would like to have some and those who have much would like to get more. People ought to heed Paul’s words: they that will be rich have “pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10, NKJV). It is also true that at the end of life it will all be left behind. The Lord Jesus invites you today to put your trust in Him as your personal Saviour! Then you will have an inheritance incorruptible, undefiled that fades not away—an eternal possession. —Jim Paul

If I gained the world but lost the Saviour! Would my gain be worth
the life-long strife? Are all earthly pleasures worth comparing? For
a moment with a Christ-filled life! —Anna Olander
