And the heavens over your head shall be bronze. Deut. 28:23

So is the experience for the natural man who seeks God, but not the Christ of God. Many try to come to God, praying incessantly, yet finding the heavens as bronze. Bronze speaks of God’s judgment and it certainly is God’s judgment that separates us from Him. What we need to realize is that although we cannot do it ourselves, Someone has already gone through judgment (brass) to dissolve it for us. The only way to God is by Christ. —Tom Steere

Death and judgment are behind us, grace and glory are before; All
the billows rolled o’er Jesus, there they spent their utmost pow’r.
Jesus died, and we died with Him, buried in His grave we lay, One
with Him in resurrection, now “in Him” in heaven’s bright day.
