DAILY READINGS: 1 Chron. 4:24-5:26; Ezekiel 7:1-27; John 1:19-51

Brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation. Acts 13:26

God’s condemnation is universal. All have sinned. But His gracious offer of salvation is equally universal. It is unto all, and who upon all those that believe (Romans 3:22). He has sent forth His absolute and unchanging Word to all, declaring that He does not wish the death of any, but that all should be saved. No sinner will ever go into eternal punishment without salvation having been provided for them. The Word of salvation goes forth today to every sinner. Come, believe, and live. —Doug Kazen

’Tis He who knows of food for all, who only can afford to call,
A hungry world to come and feed. All others do but mock their need.
