1 Chronicles 13:1-14:17; Ezekiel 14:1-15:8; John 5:1-23

Stand still, and I will hear what the Lord will command concerning you. Numbers 9:8

God’s holiness is the foundation for our relationship with Him. Because He is holy, He wants fellowship with holy people. The journey of faith of a believer should be characterized by increasing holiness. As we learn more of Him in His Word, and practice what we know, our holiness will deepen. We will please Him and be like Him. May God help us to be a holy people as He is a holy God. —G. C. G.

Holy, Holy, Holy! though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye made blind by sin,
Thy glory may not see,
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity. —R. Heber
