Genesis 7:11-8:19; Job 9:1-10:22; Matthew 5:21-48

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32

Over the years I have witnessed some of God’s people fail miserably in the matter of forgiveness. There would be no anger and animosity if we realized fully that for Christ’s sake, God has forgiven us. We certainly did not deserve it. To be forgiven by God is an amazing miracle of grace. Many a local Church would still be flourishing today if this simple Christ-like attitude had been shown to others. —Brian Russell

Who is a pardoning God like Thee?
Or who has grace so rich and free? —Samuel Davies
