Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” Matthew 27:22, NKJV

What was Pilate to do with this man whose death was demanded by the people? His wife counselled EVASION: “Have nothing to do with that just Man” (Matthew 27:19, NKJV). This is an impossibility, for He is the great unavoidable One. He can be NEGLECTED. King Agrippa said, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian” (Acts 26:28, NKJV). He can be REJECTED. “He who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him“. Or He can be ACCEPTED. “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life” (John 3:36, NKJV). What will you do? —Neil Dougal
