Genesis 13:1-14:24; Job 16:1-17:16; Matthew 8:1-27

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go… Acts 9:6
And the Lord said unto [Ananias], Arise, and go…. Acts 9:11

God uses men and women to do His work. He could have told Saul what He desired, but He chose Ananias. In God’s wisdom and love He purposes to let us be a vital part of His work for His glory and our good. “Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus…hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost” (Acts 9:17). —D. Pickup

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. —John Newton
