Genesis 44:1-34; Psalm 22:1-31; Matthew 25:31-46

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given to her for a covering. 1 Corinthians 11:15
She began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head. Luke 7:38, NKJV

The glory of a woman is her hair, yet this woman humbly brought her own glory down and used it to wipe the dirt from the feet of her Saviour. Our worldly “glories” are temporary and can be used to lift up self or they can be used to exalt our Saviour. Selfish ambition and vain conceit will fade away. Let us carefully consider our own “glories” and lay them at the beautiful feet of Him who brings good news. —Je? Frey
