Leviticus 4:27-5:13; Psalm 104:1-35; Acts 27:1-26

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ. Colossians 4:2-3

I fear what Mr. Ironside wrote over 90 years ago is still true today: “The soul flourishes in an atmosphere of prayer. Our souls will languish without prayer and our testimony will be utterly fruitless if we neglect communion with God. One of the most common sins among Christians today is prayerlessness.” May our prayers be faithful, thankful and purposeful. —Pete Smith

Go often to the quiet place of thine own heart in prayer,
For in the shelter of its peace, God is waiting there.
Commit thyself with childlike faith unto His loving hands,
Be still and know that He is God, who loves thee best and understands. —Author Unknown
