The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20, NKJV

The Lord loves us. Is there a greater joy? His love cannot be measured for it knows no breadth, length, depth, or height (Rom. 8:38- 39). His love cannot be understood for it passes knowledge. It cannot be equalled, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends…” (John 15:13-14a, NKJV). His love cannot be overcome, nothing will “separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom. 8:39, NKJV). —Jim Paul

He loved me so, and conquered this hard heart
And made it cleave to Him for weal or woe
Made me His own, no more from Him to part Who loved me so. —I. Y. Ewan
