Judges 20:1-48; Isaiah 38:1-39:8; 1 Corinthians 15:35-58

You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. Joel 2:26, NKJV

Spurgeon writes: “Lost years can never be restored literally. Time once past is gone forever. The locusts did not eat the years —the locusts ate the fruits of the years’ labour—the harvests of the fields. The restoration of the years must be the restoration of those fruits of which the locusts consumed. You cannot have back your time. But there is a strange and wonderful way in which God can give back to you the wasted blessings, the unripened fruits of years over which you mourned.” —W. A. H.

Years I spent in vanity and pride, caring not my Lord was crucified, Knowing not it was for me He died, on Calvary. —William R. Newell
