2 Samuel 21:1-22; Jeremiah 5:1-31; Galatians 6:1-18

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father. Matthew 11:27

“No man knoweth the Son, but the Father.” The incarnation of the Son of God is a divine, impenetrable mystery. Deity and humanity united in one person is impossible for the human mind to comprehend. We know that God cannot die but the man that died was God. Though we have the privilege of knowing and fellowshipping with His Son, our faculties fall short. Only the Father can truly understand Him. —Sid Halsband

But the high myst’ries of Thy name, the creature’s grasp transcend;
The Father only (glorious claim!), the Son can comprehend.
Worthy, O Lamb of God, art Thou, that every knee to Thee should bow! —Josiah Conder
