Brynmor Jones

Brynmor Jones was born in a little stone cottage in Penygarn, Tycroes, South Wales, in 1902.  He attended the local chapel regularly and as a teenager he was truly born again through hearing the gospel from some ladies who conducted ‘Sunshine Meetings’ among boys and girls in Cearsalem Chapel.  He became associated with the young assembly in Tycroes in 1917. Brynmor Jones had a passion for Bible study, evangelism, and especially for work among young people. His name is still honoured among the older villagers in Tycroes, and by believers throughout South Wales, which is a reflection of his faithfulness in the gospel locally, and of his teaching among the assemblies.  He was called home in 1991, aged 88 years, to be with the Lord he loved and served.
