J. G. Hutchinson

Mr. Hutchinson was brought up in N. Ireland; his father was a well-known evangelist. He was saved when he was 14, and when he was 19 was spoken to by God about his life and service. Ministry given by Mr. D. Craig was the means God used at that time. He thought much about missionary work, especially in Africa, and workers there encouraged him to take that step. But God made it clear to him that his field of service was in the land of his birth. For 42 years he engaged in gospel work and saw God at work in many places. He made a number of visits to other lands (U.S.A., Canada, S. Africa, Egypt, Australia and Malaysia), and saw God’s hand in blessing.  While not being chosen of God to labour permanently in other lands, he had the joy of knowing that a number who were saved under his preaching are serving abroad.
