Through these studies the author looks at core elements of mission and discusses why other forms of service like aid work should take lesser role and in one chapter focuses in on church planting. He examines in detail the motives, influences, goals and message of Paul’s ministry, emphasizing in particular the apostle’s sensitivity to varying cultural backgrounds. Contemporary examples wonderfully capture the diversity of approach Paul employed. The reader will also learn from Paul’s teaching and discipleship ministry, and be encouraged to grow in maturity within the body of Christ.
