Every believer in Christ faces spiritual temptations in life! These verity of conflict is dependent on the degree a person is like Christ. The more we behave like Christ the greater the onslaught against us. Christ said, “If they hate me they will hate you”! Three powerful enemies are united against the believer, the world around us, the devil above and the flesh within us. The ultimate source of victory is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The arenas where conflict takes place are what we love, who our faith is placed in and what our hope is. Ultimately Faith is the Victory as the song repeats the truth John reminds us of in 1 John 5:4. The key to victory is available to each of us—Our faith in The Faith!
Fred Kosin began to preach the Word after dedicating his life to the Lord at the age of 16. Invited to preach the gospel on the street corners of Chicago he began a life seeking to draw people to the Lord Jesus. He and Jenny were married in 1961 and five years later began serving the Lord together. For 20 years they served local churches in the southern US. Then for 30 years they ministered to the missionary community around the world teaching the Word, counseling and helping practically in more than 85 countries. Fred has been a speaker for conferences and camps around the world. The experience of ministering in foreign countries has given him a firsthand look at the spiritual conflict in the lives of believers and their ministries. The world, the devil and the flesh are very active enemies of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the experiences of the Lord’s people. “Faith is the Victory” points to the active engagement of faith for victory over these three enemies.
