According to the community’s historical records. ‘Nibi Oloniyo was born in 1945 at Iyah-Gbedde in Kwara State of Nigeria. He remembers much better when he was born again: “I joyfully found that God, through His precious son, had provided for me, One in whom I could appear before Him-without shame. Throughout those difficult early years and ever since, the Lord has graciously proved Himself my comfort and hope.”
Relatives helped him receive primary and secondary education. Later he earned degrees at British and American universities. While in Kaduna he was greatly encouraged through his fellowship at the Borno Road assembly. Presently residing in Lagos, ‘Nibi works with a foreign government agency managing aid-related projects.
