This is a commentary on the final twelve books of the Old Testament, usually referred to as the Minor Prophets. It has been prepared with the intention that it might encourage a more zealous application to the reading of the same prophets. With the help of the Holy Spirit they will be read with enjoyment, and readers will gain greater understanding of God’s Word, spoken by his servants long ago. They will be perceived as having particular relevance to the experience of God’s people today, as they await their Lord’s return, and anticipate “things which must shortly come to pass.”
Ivan Steeds retired from a long career in education. He was Publications Editor for many years of Precious Seeds Publications, and edited many volumes in the Day by Day series.
