Take time to go through the book of Philippians, with this book as a companion, and glean truths from God’s Word to learn more about Him.
How did Paul serve the Lord? Paul constantly referred to himself as an example for believers to follow (1 Cor. 11:1). He was aware that he was the Lord’s slave, accountable to Him (Gal. 1:10). This caused him to speak God’s Word without the fear of men. Paul and the early apostles and preachers served the Lord in faith, trusting Him daily for their needs. If necessary they would work with their hands. They looked to the Lord for direction in their service for Him.
