Studies in Practical Holiness
Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, & receives the impossible
Satan devotes himself 168 hours a week to deceiving us and filling our minds with falsehoods. He ensures that we are surrounded, almost entirely, by a Christless culture whose mood, perspective, and message are shot through with lies. We are engaged in a spiritual battle and must fight every day—there is never a day to stand on the sidelines.
Many professing Christians lack fight. Their sword of the Spirit is never drawn in battle, and they live as if no battle raged. They have a powerless Christianity. How goes your battle? Believer, be ready to fight the good fight of faith. Although your enemies are mighty, remember the Captain of your salvation goes before you. The battle is the Lord’s.
The Battle Is the Lord’s discusses various aspects of holy living and presents them in a language that any person can understand. The topics discussed include:
- The power of weakness
- Abiding in Christ
- The fullness of the Holy Spirit
- The performance snare
These topics are examined using scriptural analysis and the writings of respected evangelical leaders.
