Leviticus 7:11-38; Psalm 107:1-43; Acts 28:17-31

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. James 1:5

Here is a good definition for wisdom. It is “seeing things from God’s perspective.” When we see money from God’s perspective, it loses its power to give status and gains its ability to help others. When we see suffering from God’s perspective it loses its senselessness and gains its eternal value in glory. And when we see fame from God’s perspective it loses its intoxicating quality and sobers us to seek only the affirmation of our faithful Creator. God, help me to see things from Your perspective and grant me wisdom today. —Shane Johnson

Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord. —Dallan Forgaill
