Description
Marriage is symbolic of our relationship with God which is governed by the fulfillment of the law of Christ. Our relationship with God is made more intimate by the process of conforming our lives to God’s law. The process of sanctification is the process of making us more like Christ. While the process may not always take us in a straight line toward Christlikeness and there may be detours and setbacks in our progress which at times have us moving in the wrong direction, in the long run there should be progress made in conforming us to the moral Law of God. In the same way, the relationship between husbands and wives is also sweetened as God’s law is allowed to shape the two into His image. These laws are good for every relationship, but especially for the primary relationship of marriage. ~from the Introduction
“2 Tablets For Your Marriage is well written and a practical blessing. This book gives plenty to think about and apply to a covenant relationship. I would never have thought that the Ten Commandments could be so applicable to marriage, but it was very solid and ministered to me.” ~Dr. Jay Adams, Counselor and Author of Competent to Counsel
